Extra Large DCC Layout Wire Starter Kit - Track Bus/Droppers/Connectors
Compatible with all DCC systems including Hornby, Bachmann, Gaugemaster, NCE and Digitrax
Each kit contains:
20m Red 32/0.2 Large Track Bus Wire
20m Black 32/0.2 Large Track Bus Wire
10m Red 16/0.2 Dropper Wire
10m Black 16/0.2 Dropper Wire
60 Quick Splice Connectors
The wire included in this Starter Kit would be enough to complete a model railway layout which is larger than 8ft x 4ft up to 20ft x10ft.

32/0.2 is for medium or larger DCC layouts, where multiple throttles are to be used and/or any form of power booster is incorporated in the layout.
Dropper Wire is used in short lengths to link the track to the Track Bus.
These are connected together using the Quick Splice Connectors.
The Quick Splice Connectors are no solder IDC type.
To use, simply push the connector over the Bus Wire and push the Dropper Wire into the other hole. Close the metal splice with a pair of pliers and then fold the insulating clip over.
Dropper Wire is multi-strand 16/0.2 rated at 3A @ 70C with a 1.6mm outside diameter
Large Track Bus is multi-strand 32/0.2 rated at 6A @ 70C / 10A @ 25C with a 2.6mm outside diameter
