GENESIS TOUR JACKET From 1976 England  Trick Of The Tail tour. *Extremely* Rare.
Excellent condition. The jacket itself looks like it has been barely worn. Jacket is black nylon, with a black fabric collar.
The graphic with logo, title, and Squonk on left breast looks terrific, with some light wear on the band name. Genesis logo on back shows some wear also, a bit heavier than on front.
In 45 years of collecting Genesis memorabilia this is the only example of this particular jacket l have ever seen, much less had a chance to buy at auction (l do see in an internet search that only 2 other examples show up as previously auctioned).
It pains me to have to put this up for auction, but it is necessary that l give it up due to financial concerns. I desperately need the money for housing and medical treatment for my wife.
My only consolation is that the winning bidder will enjoy having it in their collection as much as l have!
Importantly, please take into account the size of this jacket before bidding. It is Small. I cannot imagine a roadie small enough to wear this, it must have belonged to someone's wife or child (which may account for its great condition, perhaps?).
I included a modern coat-hanger in the photo to hopefully assist in illustrating scale.
The measurement from bottom-of-pit to bottom-of-pit is 20 1/2".  Measurement from top of zipper to bottom of jacket is 20 inches.
The collectibility of this item itself is such that l would hope one would purchase it as a display piece...but on the very odd chance you would purchase for someone to wear it would literally only fit comfortably on a petite female adult, a male or female pre-teen, or a small adult gentleman.
In any case l hope l have shown all of this adequately in the photographs.
