    Description

    Huge red oak burl measuring 31" x 25" x 11.5", weight 56 kilograms give or take a kg (or about 124 LBS,) has been stored in a dry, pest-free warehouse for about 30 years. Moisture readings range from 9.5 to 12.5 depending on location and depth of pins. There is a cut into the base (visible at the top of the last photo) that tapers from about 1/4" on the left to 2.5" at its deepest on the right. It's difficult to find a burl this large.
