Pacific Yew Live Edge Bowl Blank + Extra! NICE 8.5 × 8.25 × 4.25" (L219)

Description

Natural edge Pacific Yew bowl blank, salvaged from a fire.  Awesome colors and grain, this ones a stunner!  All cut surfaces are waxed.  A few small checks, drying for over 4 months.  The bark is lightly burned in areas, but still in good condition.

Bowl blank:  8.5 × 8.25 - 8.5 × 4 - 4.25"
Branch piece: 8.5 × 2.25 - 2.7"
There was room for an extra piece so i threw in a small turning blank of yew.
Weighs 7 3/4 pounds.

Yew wood is very hard and strong, and turns excellent!  It takes a finish better than most hardwoods!
